Living at Versailles, the last palace for the French royals would be amazing and weird because you would always be with a crowd. I learned at the palace that when the king and queen would either eat, sleep or just be changing their clothes, there would be chairs in their room watching what was going on. I would hate that if I was the queen. When we were walking all through the palace, I would really like to live there too because the rooms are very beautiful because they had very pretty flowers everywhere. The gardens were huge!!!! I learned that the queen would walk through the gardens when she was bored. I would never be able to walk through the whole garden. They had a lot of fountains too! They had different types of fountains too because some were like waterfalls and some had sculptures in them. When we were walking in the bedrooms of the king and queen, I learned that their were no bathrooms back then and that they had to do their business in like a pot near their bed! EWWWWWW! I could never EVER do that! Overall, I think I would struggle living in the palaces back then.
